Welcome to Adventures in Creative Writing, where students will unleash the storytellers within. This writer’s workshop will focus on the ‘art’ of writing and explore the many purposes of writing.

About Me!
My experience includes over twenty years of teaching language arts, humanities, and writing from primary grades to the college level. I also have three years of experience creating, curating, writing, and managing all published content for a local college and private elementary school’s social media platform. My writing has been featured in The San Diego Union-Tribune and regional newspapers in San Diego.
I have a B.A. in English from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in creative writing and poetry from Naropa University. In addition, I also have a Montessori teaching credential and am a certified yoga instructor. I enjoy cooking, writing poetry, and doing yoga in my free time. I am an active member of the San Diego Writers Memoir Association and San Diego Writers, Ink.
